Volyn gets an evacuation train from Donetsk

Fifty-three people, including 31 children and one person with a disability, were evacuated.

The evacuees were provided with lunch boxes and Easter gifts. They were also offered humanitarian and psychological assistance.

IDPs received evacuation payments and were transported to a temporary residence at a rehabilitation center operated by a charitable foundation. A disabled individual was relocated to a geriatric boarding house.

The Evacuation Coordination Center, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, discussed Volyn Oblast’s readiness to receive evacuees from Donetsk Oblast.

The Volyn region is now accepting displaced persons from Donetsk.
