The goal of the project is to develop displaced youth living in Zaporizhzhia who want to participate in the reconstruction of the region’s communities. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) website reports.

The creation of special teams at the center is a planned initiative. In collaboration with local authorities, they will oversee the involvement of young people in the region’s recovery efforts.

Additionally, the center will provide young people with the chance to engage in volunteer initiatives and activities designed to enhance public safety and social cohesion. In particular, in educational training and seminars.

The opening of the center was made possible by the People.UA NGO with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and financial support from the European Union under the EU4Recovery – Empowering Communities in Ukraine project.
