The series “People with War Experience. Dignity. Interaction” teaches how to communicate with military veterans, especially those who have been disabled or held in captivity.

The series helps you understand what people feel when they come home, teaches you how to communicate with them, and helps those who need to speak out. The characters are military personnel. They talk about how they communicate with civilians.

The hero of one episode is Danylo Kravets, a soldier released from captivity. He talks openly about the war and can share his experiences if asked. He says that some people are too traumatized by the word “captivity,” so it’s important to be able to communicate properly.

The series has 11 episodes. They teach the basics of good communication in different situations. They also help female and male veterans integrate into society.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation created the series as part of the “How are you?” campaign. The All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program is an initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska. It is supported by the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, NGO Bezbariernist, and Visa. It is on the Diia.Osvita platform.
