The new humanitarian aid package of DKK 250 million (EUR 33.5 million) has been designed to meet the urgent needs of Ukrainians affected by the war. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark reports.
The organization provides basic emergency assistance to Ukrainians from the areas most impacted by the war, including food, medicine, water, and shelter. A particular focus is placed on the protection of the most vulnerable segments of the Ukrainian population.
Humanitarian assistance will be provided by international organizations operating in our country. These include such UN agencies as OCHA, UNHCR, UNICEF, and UNFPA.
Furthermore, the support package is designed to enhance the resilience of Ukrainians in navigating the upcoming winter season. Also, the funds will be allocated for humanitarian demining.
