The decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers regarding compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of internally displaced persons in state, municipal, and private property.

The document outlines the allocation of more than UAH 71 million from the state budget reserve fund to the relevant institutions to cover utility costs for January 2024. The funds will be utilized for the following purposes:

• The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industrial Policy, and Ministry of Social Policy received more than UAH 9.3 million. This was to pay compensation to state-owned institutions under their management.
• Almost 60 million was allocated to local institutions, state schools, and joint community and district councils.

The Ministry of Reintegration will provide the aforementioned subsidy from the state budget to local budgets by the approved distribution among regional budgets.

Furthermore, more than UAH 1.6 million has been allocated to regional military administrations to compensate private institutions (except for private educational institutions).

The Ministry of Reintegration extends its gratitude to the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance for their collaboration in the implementation of the state policy on support of internally displaced persons.
