Before the invasion, Yana lived in Enerhodar. She made souvenirs and other wooden products.

After the city was occupied, she and her husband moved to Zaporizhzhia.

She quickly settled into her new place: volunteering, social projects, and studying entrepreneurship.

She wrote a business plan, won a competition, and got 1.5 thousand euros.

She bought a laser machine for working with wood. The craftswoman says this tool lets her finish orders faster.

Yana is back to work and doing what she loves.

“Don’t doubt yourself. Even if you fail, keep going,” she says.
