The event was held at the Cabinet of Ministers building and was co-chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, and Oksana Zholnovych, Minister of Social Policy.
The Supervisory Board reviewed the status of projects to restore and develop social infrastructure.
The projects are run by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) with help from the Ministry of Reintegration and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW).
The meeting participants heard information on:
– Undertaking a barrier-free audit of medical facilities that underwent reconstruction in 2023.
– Schedules for building new healthcare facilities in Pershotravensk, Pavlohrad, Synelnykove (Dnipro Oblast), and Verkhnia Tersa (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
– Transferring equipment to communities in Odesa and Ternopil for educational, leisure, sports, and rehabilitation services, and children’s furniture.
– Arranging shelters in 6 medical facilities under construction.
