The Government has today approved amendments to CMU Resolution No. 771. The amendments propose to include the Kharkiv region in the pilot water supply project that is already operating in the Dnipro, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.
The decision will streamline permitting procedures and accelerate the implementation of projects to build artesian wells for healthcare facilities in the Kharkiv region during the martial law period.
As a result, the Kharkiv RMA will be able to proceed with its work without the need for land allocation, compliance with urban planning documentation, obtaining urban planning conditions, and restrictions on land development. It will also be able to obtain an expert opinion on project documentation for the construction of facilities and obtain the right to carry out construction work. Furthermore, without using the Unified State Electronic System for Construction and Registration of Property Rights.
These changes are to provide water to social facilities in Kharkiv Oblast if the drinking water supply is damaged by shelling.
The Ministry of Recovery has drafted the relevant act. The Ministry of Environment is coordinating the pilot project.
The draft resolution was created by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk after visiting the Kharkiv region.
