A Ukrainian delegation visited Argentina and the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported the outcome on his telegram channel.

During the visit, the Ombudsperson’s representative urged Argentine officials to join the coalition for the return of Ukrainian children as part of the fourth point of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula.

The alliance was established on 2 February 2024 in Kyiv with the participation of Ukraine and Canada.

The program’s objective is to identify the locations of illegally deported and forcibly displaced young Ukrainians. Once identified, it facilitates their reunification with their families or placement in family-based care, providing the necessary rehabilitation assistance upon their return.
