Four evacuation flights to the Rivne region are planned for 3, 11, 19 and 27 June. This was discussed at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk last week.
The Rivne regional military administration has about 270 free places for evacuees in temporary accommodation. If there are not enough places, the register of private housing will be used. The region has also arranged two premises for family-type orphanages.
Iryna Vereshchuk asked UNICEF to support the children being evacuated and to talk to the RMA.
“The places where people are evacuated should have proper social infrastructure. People should know they will get help and support in the new place,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
