Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk presented Denise Brown, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine, with a certificate of honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in recognition of her exemplary contributions to the people of Ukraine.

The official commended Denise Brown’s efforts in advocating for international assistance to citizens affected by the war, with a particular focus on internally displaced persons and residents of the frontline areas.

In 2023, the United Nations and its partners provided essential humanitarian assistance to approximately 11 million people in Ukraine. The humanitarian aid campaign in Ukraine is one of the largest in the history of the UN.
