The Ministry of Reintegration’s team, led by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, visited a regional boarding house for people with disabilities and the elderly during a working visit to the Vinnytsia region.

This facility is an inpatient social and medical institution designed for the permanent residence of elderly people and individuals with disabilities who require outside care.

Since the conflict started, the nursing home has been a primary refuge for people with limited mobility who were evacuated from active war zones to the Vinnytsia region.

This institution provides housing and medical care for the elderly and disabled, including those with mental illnesses.

We’d like to thank our international donors for their financial support for the boarding house renovation: Médecins Sans Frontières, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the United Nations International Organization for Migration, and the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic.
