The Cabinet has adopted changes to the reintegration procedures approved by the government on April 28, 2021.
The main goal of the changes is to make the “Housing for Internally Displaced Persons” project run more smoothly and efficiently. This is a project funded by the German government through the KfW.
This is about changes to the way money from the state budget is spent on loans for people who have been forced to leave their homes. It also covers loans for IDPs at the expense of a grant from KfW.
The changes should help us create a better register of candidates for loans.
Also, to make the process of putting together the list of candidates as smooth as possible, we’ll be accepting applications through the Diia portal.
Furthermore, the changes are designed to enhance the availability of loans. Individuals whose families received state support, monetary compensation, or preferential housing loans during their minority will now be eligible for such loans.
