This pilot project is designed to provide liquefied natural gas to vulnerable populations in frontline areas.

The project was first planned for Kharkiv. The Vice Prime Minister suggested adding Sumy and Donetsk. These regions have already identified needs and submitted proposals to the draft regulation.

The Ministry of Energy and other groups are developing the draft resolution.

We want to provide gas to vulnerable people in frontline areas. We will not limit ourselves to the Kharkiv region. “We will extend the project to Sumy and Donetsk,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
