Iryna Vereshchuk held a meeting on humanitarian aid in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, Iryna Vereshchuk met to discuss humanitarian aid in the region.

Oleh Syniehubov (head of the Kharkiv RMA), Ihor Terekhov (mayor), Oleksandr Bakumov, Pavlo Yakymenko, Viktoriia Kinzburska, Oleksii Krasov, Mariia Mezentseva, Pavlo Sushko, and Yevhen Pivovarov were all there.

Representatives of the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Armed Forces, the State Emergency Service, the State Tax Service, Ukrzaliznytsia, representatives of international organizations, and others were also present.

The participants talked about a new rule for buying some things for the government. This rule is for building things like fortifications.

Iryna Vereshchuk said the Ministry of Economy should explain how this resolution works in practice.

They also talked about giving fuel wood to people in areas near Kharkiv that need it most. They said it would be good to get help from other groups to make this happen.

Another topic was meeting the demand for timber for fortifications in the Kharkiv region.

They also talked about paying people for damage or destruction to their homes caused by russia’s military action in the Kharkiv region.

We are working hard to help people in the Kharkiv region. Working together is the best way to succeed,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
