The Kharkiv and Donetsk RMAs’ decision was supported by members of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law at a meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Kharkiv region.

The evacuation of 186 children and their families from 38 settlements of the Izium, Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv districts of the Kharkiv region was approved.

Evacuation is planned within 60 days.

Assembly and reception centers have been set up to evacuate the Kharkiv region.

Donetsk region.

These are the Lyman and Illinivska settlements in the Kramatorsk district. Thirty-eight children and their parents or guardians are to be evacuated.

Children from Kharkiv and Donetsk who have been evacuated will be given free shelter, aid, and support.

Iryna Vereshchuk thanked everyone who helped evacuate children from dangerous areas.
