The Peaceful Sky of Kharkiv charity foundation gave humanitarian hygiene kits to people affected by war in the Kharkiv region.

The aid was provided thanks to the cooperation of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, and the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism with the support of the Romanian Ministry of International Relations.

The EU Civil Protection Mechanism is a system of cooperation between EU member states and 10 partner countries, including Ukraine. It aims to prevent and respond to emergencies through international assistance.

Humanitarian kits were given to 5,500 people in Malodanilovskaya, Dergachevskaya, Iziumskaya, Zolochivskaya, Tsirkunovskaya, Pisochinskaya, and Novopokrovskaya.

9.7 thousand people from vulnerable groups and internally displaced persons received assistance at social service centers and in temporary accommodation facilities in Kharkiv.
