The Ukrainian Humanitarian Foundation (UHF) is offering support to IDPs and residents of frontline areas during the 2024/2025 heating season.

The issue was discussed at a meeting on providing household fuel in frontline areas, chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Assistance is planned for vulnerable people in frontline areas during the winter.

  1. Household fuel: in-kind or cash.
  2. Help to pay utility bills.

They can get help with utilities:

– IDPs living outside temporary camps.

– People who have lost their main income provider.

– People who don’t earn enough.

– Big families.

$50 million will be used to help vulnerable people in areas at risk.

The program also helps with temporary housing for IDPs. It provides repairs, insulation, and other support. About USD 5 million will be spent on this. The Temporary Accommodation Centers will also get solid fuel for the winter.
