The National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunications Networks has updated the rules for operating mobile phone base stations during martial law.

Mobile communication should be available for 10 hours during power outages, up from 4.

By October 1, 2024, at least 60% of base stations must have a backup power supply. By the end of January 2025, 100% of base stations must have it.

The Plan of Priority Measures to Stabilize the Life Support of the Population in the Areas of Military Operations aims to keep mobile base stations powered up.

The Ministry of Reintegration developed the document and the Government approved it on June 25, 2024.
