Russia is continuing to violate international humanitarian law by forcing people to get passports

International law says that people cannot be forced to support the occupiers or have their property taken away.

The occupiers keep committing crimes. They are trying to pressure the locals to take russian passports.

This information is provided in the most recent report from the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Reintegration reiterates its previous guidance to citizens to refrain from visiting the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and to avoid any contact with the occupation administrations. Furthermore, citizens are advised not to accept russian passports and to prevent any form of collaboration, regardless of any threats or intimidation.

If you know someone who is helping the occupiers to register other people’s real estate and move in strangers, tell the police or call the Ministry of Reintegration’s hotline at 1548. This will help the police to catch the people who did it and make them pay for what they did.
