The IDP Council at the Transcarpathian RMA started in September 2023. It has 23 members, 16 of whom are IDPs.
The following regional IDP support programs are currently in operation:
- A comprehensive IDP support program for the region is scheduled to run from 2023 to 2025.
- A program of construction (purchase) of housing in the Transcarpathian region for the period 2023-2026.
- Regional Program of Sustainable Psychosocial Support for Populations Affected by Russian Aggression.
- A program of compensation of part of the interest rate on mortgage loans to privileged categories of citizens and IDPs received under the terms of the state program “eOselya.”
- The program for improving housing conditions for privileged categories of citizens and displaced persons through preferential lending, “Own House.”
- A comprehensive socio-economic program to provide housing for young people, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their families, and IDPs in the Transcarpathian region.
- Program for the allocation of temporary accommodation for IDPs, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their families among IDPs in the region.
The IDP Council, in collaboration with the Center for Social Services and the RMA, has created an informational guide outlining available temporary residence options. This guide is available in both digital and print formats and provides valuable insight for individuals planning to relocate to Transcarpathian.
