The international charitable foundation is intensifying its assistance to Ukrainians facing daily shelling from enemy forces. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of Caritas Germany with Caritas Ukraine and with funding from the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO).
The funds will be allocated to bolster Ukraine’s medical infrastructure and extend financial assistance to approximately 2,800 individuals from vulnerable demographics.
It has been reported that almost 400 thousand euros of the total amount will be allocated to the purchase of medical equipment for the children’s medical center in Lviv. For over two years, the center has served as an evacuation hub for children with serious illnesses affected by the war. Additionally, the center has received patients transferred from Ohmatdyt as a result of an enemy missile attack on the hospital.
The rest of the funds will help families impacted by the war in the frontline areas of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovs’k regions.
