This is about paying for utilities for people who have been forced to leave their homes and are staying in state, municipal, or private buildings.  The Cabinet of Ministers made this decision.

The document allocates more than UAH 26.6 million from the state budget reserve fund to cover utility costs for April 2024. The funds will be allocated to:

– More than UAH 3.9 million will go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industrial Policy, and Ministry of Social Policy to pay compensation to state-owned institutions.

– More than UAH 21.9 million was allocated to municipal institutions, state educational institutions, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities.

The Ministry of Reintegration will provide the subsidy above from the state budget to local budgets by the approved distribution among regional budgets.

Furthermore, over UAH 671 thousand has been allocated to regional military administrations to compensate private institutions (excluding private educational institutions).

The Ministry of Reintegration extends its gratitude to the Ministry of Economy and Finance for their invaluable collaboration in implementing state policy on support for internally displaced persons.
