A pharmacy has been operational in one of the villages of the Chornobaivska community in Kherson Oblast since August 2. It is located on the premises of a family outpatient clinic and is open from 8:00 to 15:00, Monday through Saturday.
The pharmacy was opened by the directives of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, following her working visit to the Kherson region.
At a meeting of the Coordination Center at the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Iryna Vereshchuk urged all heads of district military administrations to guarantee the operational status of stationary pharmacies in settlements with a population of 1,000 or more.
The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control in Kherson Oblast is currently working with the pharmacy manager to facilitate the pharmacy’s participation in the government’s Affordable Medicines program.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all those who played a role in the opening of this pharmacy. I would also like to thank Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, for his prompt response. This will help ensure that residents have access to the necessary medicines,” the Vice Prime Minister stated.
