Mortgage at 3%: IDP families got loans again

Опубліковано 5 August 2024 року, о 16:47

On August 5, the State Agency for Housing and Urban Development selected 200 more families to receive a loan under the Ukrainian-German program “Housing for Internally Displaced Persons.”

The Ministry of Reintegration and the State Agency for Youth and Sports are implementing the project with German government funding from KfW.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to purchase housing on credit at the lowest interest rate in Ukraine, which is currently 3% per annum. Loans are granted for up to 30 years with a down payment of 6% of the cost of housing.

The selection process was streamed live on the Foundation’s YouTube channel. Representatives from the Ministry of Reintegration, the State Youth Housing Agency, and the Implementation Consultant were present to oversee the proceedings.

Winners were chosen at random using the software. See here for a list of families who bought homes under the program.

The program terms, application instructions, and other documents are available here.
