The meeting was attended by the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration and its units, the city military administration, and volunteers and civil society delegates. MPs Oleh Seminsky and Serhiy Hryvko were also present.

Vashchenko, deputy head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported on veterans’ policy in the region.

They talked about veterans’ work in communities and funding for veteran projects.

Iryna Vereshchuk asked local authorities to copy successful veteran practices from other regions of Ukraine. She mentioned veteran services and veteran spaces/hubs.

“We need to create veterans’ services in communities that meet specific needs,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
