We discussed the relocation of medical facilities from Donetsk Oblast to Ukrzaliznytsia hospitals. The group also considered the possibility of establishing a mental health center in one of the hospitals.

Minister of Health Viktor Liashko and Ukrzaliznytsia Board Member Oleksandr Pertsovsky attended the meeting.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Vice Prime Minister, and the head of the Ministry of Health are co-chairs of the Interagency Coordination Council on Mental Health and Psychological Assistance to Persons Affected by the russian federation’s War.

Representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Institute of Mental Health, and Ukrzaliznytsia also attended the discussion.

They toured the facility and talked to the medical staff.

The meeting decided to lease the Kyiv Clinical Hospital on Railway Transport No. 2 to relocated medical institutions in Donetsk Oblast. The Ministry of Health will then take over the premises.

The responsible structures will consider other premises for the mental health center after which a decision will be made.
