The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) have initiated a new project, entitled “Mine Action and Return of IDPs in Southern Ukraine.” This information is available on the UNDP website.

It helps people affected by war rebuild their homes.

The project runs until August 2025.

During this period, UNDP will be engaged in various activities, including rubble clearance, housing restoration, area surveying, and explosive ordnance defusion.

Furthermore, it will assist those providing legal, physical, and psychological assistance and vocational training services.

Additionally, UNDP will support governmental and non-governmental organizations that will assist the population in the targeted regions of southern Ukraine, particularly in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
