The winners were selected based on the results of this year’s fifteenth wave of applications. The Government portal reports.

The winners include 38 combatants and 37 family members of veterans. 65 of them received a grant of up to UAH 500 thousand, 6 received up to UAH 250 thousand, and 4 received up to UAH 1 million. The total amount of grants is UAH 38 million.

Most grant recipients are based in the Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Volyn regions.

The program participants intend to develop their businesses in the following areas: wholesale and retail trade, the processing industry, temporary accommodation, and catering.

Since its inception, the “Grant for Your Own Business” program has awarded 960 grants to veterans and their families, with the state investing UAH 500 million in these businesses.
