In just one day, visitors to the photo exhibition in Lviv wrote 33 letters to Crimean political prisoners

An information tent in support of the Letters to a Free Crimea campaign was established in Lviv during the photo exhibition, Crimea through the Eyes of Citizen Journalists: 10 Years in Captivity.

Visitors were invited to select a postcard featuring the peninsula’s scenery and compose a message of encouragement for the political prisoners.

The photo exhibition was held in Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk. The Letters to a Free Crimea campaign supports political prisoners and reminds the public of Ukrainian prisoners of the Kremlin. It will run in Ukraine and abroad until the end of 2024.

The organizers are the Ministry of Reintegration, the President’s Office in Crimea, PEN Ukraine, and the ZMINA Human Rights Center.
