The bus will run through some pretty remote villages in the Beryslav district, where there aren’t any stationary pharmacies. The Kherson Regional Health Administration reports.
The mobile pharmacy will cover 52 settlements in the Velika Oleksandrivska, Vysokopilska, Kochubeivska, Borozenska, Kalynivska, Mylivska, and Novovorontsovska communities.
The new pharmacy will sell over-the-counter and prescription drugs, as well as medicines under the Affordable Medicines program.
Residents can obtain further information about the pharmacy’s arrival from their family doctor or local authorities. The route will be determined according to the needs of the communities and the security situation.
In August 2023, the Government adopted a resolution allowing licensees for the retail sale of medicines to establish mobile pharmacy outlets. These can be operated in rural areas where there are no stationary facilities. Furthermore, they can also be operated in frontline areas during the period of martial law.
