This is Ukraine’s plan to provide housing for IDPs until 2027.
The presentation was made at a meeting on IDP housing, led by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
The strategy was developed to enhance the state’s capability to address the housing issues of internally displaced persons.
The working group members presented the strategic goals of the document, outlining the specific tasks, solutions, and responsible parties for each.
These include the creation of a unified information and analytical system to more effectively manage the housing needs of IDPs, improve the efficiency of temporary accommodation, and enhance the coordination of authorities in addressing all housing issues of IDPs.
Furthermore, the concept of social rental housing, compensation, and strategies for expanding credit and investment programs to facilitate IDPs’ access to housing were presented.
“I can already see tangible results. Thank you for your efforts in developing the Strategy. We still have a lot of work ahead, but we have a solid foundation to build on,” the Vice Prime Minister summarized the presentation.
