19.6 thousand entrepreneurs have already received grants to start or expand their own businesses, the Government Portal reports.
Since the launch of the government’s eRobota project, a total of the following grants and microgrants have been issued: under the Own Business program, to veterans and their families, for the development of processing enterprises, as well as for gardening and greenhouse development.
Existing entrepreneurs and individuals with no prior business experience are eligible to apply for a grant. Applications must be submitted via the Diia portal and accompanied by a comprehensive business plan.
To qualify for a grant, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to job creation. This can range from one to two positions for microgrants to several dozen for other programs. The grant funds are returned to the state through taxes and fees paid by the company over three years.
