The first payments have begun for households in three regions of Ukraine as part of a joint project of the Ministry of Reintegration and UNICEF to support families with children in areas affected by the war.

This week, more than 12,000 households will receive financial assistance for UAH 21,800. This will enable them to prepare in advance for a successful winter.

UNICEF has earmarked over UAH 260 million for this project.

The program will provide support for winterization in 2024/2025 to up to 60,000 residents of the frontline areas in total.
