The funds were received from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) as part of the project, “HOME. Compensation for Destroyed Housing.” The Government portal reports.
The funds are the first of two stages, to be completed by the end of the year.
The HOME project will provide financing for housing certificates, enabling citizens to receive compensation for housing destroyed as a result of hostilities and terrorist attacks in Russia.
The primary beneficiaries are combatants, individuals with disabilities, and families with multiple dependents.
The project is being implemented as part of the eRecovery service throughout Ukraine.
As part of the project, it is anticipated that more than 2,000 housing certificates will be financed, enabling approximately 5,700 Ukrainians to receive compensation for destroyed housing.
