The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Ministry of Reintegration are proactively preparing frontline communities for the forthcoming winter. In particular, they provide targeted assistance to the most vulnerable populations in remote rural and semi-rural areas along the contact line or border areas.

In line with the ICRC’s planned activities for the current year, the following is scheduled to take place:

A total of 14,895 households will receive financial assistance of UAH 25 thousand.

Furthermore, 5,457 households will have over 11,000 tons of fuel briquettes.

1100 households will be provided with firewood.

Furthermore, the ICRC will provide financial assistance to 680 families in the form of funds for housing improvement, and over 1,300 households will receive construction materials or in-kind assistance for prompt housing repairs before winter.

The Ministry of Reintegration extends its sincerest gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for its invaluable support of Ukrainians in frontline areas.
