The decision was reached at a meeting of the Sumy Oblast Defense Council and subsequently communicated via the Telegram channel of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

The evacuation of settlements in the Shostka district is underway. In particular, the city of Hlukhiv and the villages of Svesa and Esman are being evacuated.
