The State Emergency Service has reported the appearance of a new item on the Diia.Osvita portal, entitled “Mine Safety.”

The simulator provides users with an immersive experience that closely resembles real-life scenarios. To begin, users are required to view a video and then answer a series of questions.

For instance, the initial video depicts a family returning to their residence following the de-occupation of their hometown. However, they discover an explosive device at the entrance. Users are prompted to respond to the question, “What is the appropriate course of action in this scenario?” and are presented with four potential options, accompanied by an expert’s rationale.

The simulator has three parts: “De-occupied territories,” “Frontline cities,” and “All of Ukraine.”

It helps Ukrainians learn to spot dangerous areas and what to do when they find something suspicious.

The tool was made to go with the mine safety campaign “Notice the Changes,” which started in June.

The simulator is here.
