The public is invited to submit their ideas and initiatives on this topic via the Facebook page of Advisor to the Presidential Commissioner for Accessibility Tetiana Lomakina by 30 September this year.
This is made possible by the Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Strategy for Accessibility for 2025-2026. It will help shape appropriate policies for people with disabilities, veterans with disabilities, older people, youth, women, and parents raising young children.
The plan will cover access to infrastructure, transport, education, healthcare, public services, employment, and sports.
Submit proposals by 18:00 on 30 September at this link. Experts and relevant ministries will review and process them.
In 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the National Strategy for Creating Barrier-Free Space until 2030, which was initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska. The strategy’s objective is to facilitate the creation of barrier-free spaces, services, and information for all groups of people.
