Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, chaired a meeting on this topic.

The meeting discussed the implementation of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1055 of 13 September 2024. This resolution provides for the allocation of state budget funds to local budgets for the purchase of housing for family-type children’s homes (FTH).

At the meeting, we learned that the regions are looking for suitable housing. By the end of this year, 94 FTHs will be purchased.

The resolution allows the purchase of housing for:

1) IDPs who need housing in safe areas outside Ukraine but plan to return.

2) People who have been forced to leave their homes in Ukraine.

3) Newly established FTHs.

The subvention funds will help FTHs return to Ukraine and create new FTHs.
