In 2023, Ukrainian archives produced more than 21 million digital copies of documents, ranking second in the world in terms of digitization speed. The State Archival Service of Ukraine reported this.

The following countries are leading the way in terms of digitizing their archival documents at the fastest pace in 2023:

  • Finland leads the way with 34.2 million.

  • Ukraine has recorded over 21 million.

  • Germany has approximately 21 million.

  • Israel has recorded over 18 million.

  • Norway has reached 18 million.

It is worth noting that Ukraine has produced three times as many copies as the United States, 3.5 times as many as Poland, and almost four times as many as Canada.

The State Archival Service of Ukraine has set a target of digitizing at least 30 million copies of documents this year.
