The affordable mortgage program has helped 13,137 Ukrainian families buy homes. Loans issued during the two years exceeded UAH 21 billion. The Government portal reports.
Last year, Ukrainians received 5,855 loans worth UAH 8.85 billion. This year, another 6,792 loans worth UAH 11.6 billion were issued.
Over half of the families who bought homes with soft loans are military or police families.
Most loans were issued in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Lviv, Odesa, and Vinnytsia.
eOselya works with 12 banks and 82 developers to provide loans and housing for Ukrainians.
The eOselya program started on October 1, 2022. It offered a 3% mortgage for military, police, medical, and scientific workers. It later expanded to include all Ukrainians needing better housing, who could get a 7% loan.
