The humanitarian response will prioritize winterization measures for frontline communities

A regular meeting on humanitarian response was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Iryna Vereshchuk. The meeting’s agenda included preparations for the fall and winter period in the frontline regions.

The meeting included representatives from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, the Ministry of Reintegration, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Finance, and other agencies, along with several regional military administrations.

The participants discussed the implementation of a pilot project to distribute humanitarian aid in the form of liquefied gas cylinders to vulnerable populations in the frontline areas. These are the Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. In this context, the issue of the Zaporizhzhia region joining the project was discussed.

The meeting also addressed the delivery and installation of boiler houses transferred from state to communal ownership in the Dnipro, Kremenchuk, and Kharkiv city territorial communities.

Furthermore, the meeting participants agreed on the relocation of certain modular boiler houses provided by UNICEF to the frontline communities of Donetsk Oblast.
