The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has made payments to families with children who left the Hlukhiv, Esman, and Svesa communities in Sumy Oblast for safer areas as part of the mandatory evacuation.

7278 people, including 3128 children, received emergency financial assistance of UAH 10,800 each. The Foundation has allocated over UAH 74 million to provide this support.

Over the past four months, UNICEF has provided cash assistance to 21,800 households in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy oblasts, reaching 71,400 people, including 36,700 children, in communities where mandatory evacuations have been announced.

Payments were made to families with vulnerable children:

– The family includes someone with a disability under 18.

– The family has children under 18.

– Children are raised by a single parent.

– A family with children under 18 is a low-income family.

If you have questions about payments and registration, contact the social protection authority in the community where the family with children has moved. Apply for the relevant assistance.
