The government is arranging jobs for 1,200 disabled people.

Entrepreneurs in Ukraine get money for hiring people with disabilities. Most of these employers are in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, and Volyn.

The jobs were created for accountants, teachers, safety engineers, clerks, administrators, trade managers, drivers, and mechanics.

The government program allows employers to receive reimbursement for the costs of equipping workplaces for employees with disabilities. The reimbursement amount is up to UAH 106,500 for Group I disabilities and up to UAH 71 thousand for Group II disabilities.

To receive funds, employers are required to apply within 90 days of hiring a specialist with a disability. Applications can be submitted either online via the Diia portal or in person by contacting a regional employment center.
