Currently, 18,000 boiler houses and 4,800 central heating stations are ready to provide heat. According to a report from the Ministry of Recovery, this information was presented at a meeting of the Headquarters for the Preparation of Housing and Utilities for the Autumn-Winter Period.

The participants included representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration and other central authorities, RMAs, local governments, and energy companies. The meeting was opened by Vasyl Shkurakov, First Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine.

The meeting reviewed the status of the regions that have not yet completed the installation of cogeneration units, which help ensure energy independence in the event of power outages.

Furthermore, it was highlighted that communities must be prepared for potential emergencies and have a contingency plan in place in the event of a complete failure of the power system.

At the event, they presented the outcomes of their collaboration with international partners on the supply of cogeneration units and modular boiler houses. They also highlighted the importance of supporting frontline areas.
