On October 17, the State Agency for Youth and Housing selected candidates for a loan under the Ukrainian-German program “Housing for Internally Displaced Persons”.

The Ministry of Reintegration and the State Agency for Housing and Communal Services are implementing the project with German government support from KfW.

As a result of the selection process, another 800 IDP families were able to secure a loan at the lowest interest rate in Ukraine—3% per annum. Loans are granted for a term of up to 30 years with a down payment of 6% of the cost of housing.

The winners were selected via random sampling using software. The selection process was overseen by representatives from the Ministry of Reintegration, the State Agency for Youth and Housing, and the implementation consultant.

The selection process was live-streamed on the Foundation’s YouTube channel.

The list of families who bought homes through the program is here.
