Interview with Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, for Krym.Realii Radio.

Turkey’s construction of apartments in Kherson and Mykolaiv for Crimean Tatars, internally displaced persons, and participants in the Joint Forces Operation may begin in February 2022. Kyiv has not yet found land for this project.

This was reported by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Reintegration of the Occupied Territories, on the air of Radio Krym.Realii.

“Kherson has allocated a land plot for the construction of houses of 200 apartments. Mykolaiv has also allocated land. Kyiv has not found land to allocate for internally displaced persons and completely ignores this issue. Turkey is ready to start, and I really hope that Erdogan will lay the foundation stone in February next year and construction will begin,” said Vereshchuk.
