During the briefing, the Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk briefed on the evacuation plans and the work of humanitarian corridors for today.
According to her, work is underway to evacuate people along the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia.
Currently there are 17 buses near Berdyansk:
- 10 of them – for evacuation of Mariupol residents and local residents from Berdyansk.
ATTENTION! If buses are not allowed to pass through the city, people are asked to go to the checkpoint at the entrance to the city – there the transport will be waiting for them.
- 7 buses will try to pass closer to Mariupol accompanied by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
You can also take the corridor from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia by your own car.
In addition, today it is planned to evacuate people from the cities of Severodonetsk, Popasna, Lysychansk, Rubizhne and the village of Nyzhne, Luhansk region.
“To start the evacuation, we are waiting for a ceasefire by the occupying forces!” Iryna Vereshchuk stressed.
