On April 5, at the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk, humanitarian aid was delivered to the liberated villages of Ivankyv and Sukachy of Kyiv region.

The delivery of the humanitarian cargo was organized by the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with the international charity organization “Foundation of Goodness and Love” and the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration facilitated the unimpeded movement of the humanitarian convoy throughout the region.

“We have to now provide the residents of the liberated settlements, where the occupiers have artificially created a humanitarian crisis, with everything they need. In order our people have access to basic needs and services. This is one of the priorities facing the Government. I thank everyone who joined in collecting and delivering this humanitarian cargo”, – Iryna Vereshchuk said.

As a result, 8 cars delivered more than 16 tons of humanitarian aid, which consists of food and hygiene products. Part of the cargo – individual packs for citizens – was delivered directly to homes. The women’s psychoneurological dispensary in the village of Sukachy received special assistance.

It should be noted that the relevant assistance was provided in coordination with the Ministry of Reintegration and in cooperation with the Help Ukraine Center. The People’s Deputy of Ukraine Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk ensured the establishment of communication with local residents and the study of their needs.

In turn, the international charitable organization “Foundation of Goodness and Love” took on the function of delivering appropriate aid to Kyiv, packing and distributing it to the civilian population of the village. Ivankyv and the village of Sukachy.

In addition, 2 state-of-the-art Swiss ambulances were handed over to the Ivankyv District Hospital. We will remind that on April 1 in the settlement of Ivankyv of the Kyiv region the Ukrainian flag was raised. The settlement was under occupation from the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
